More and more companies in Vienna and across Austria want to "do something with AI" — and quickly find that the hard part is not the technology. It is knowing where AI genuinely saves time or money, and getting a working system into daily use. That is what AI consulting is for.
What does an AI consultancy do?
A good AI consultancy does three things:
- Finds the right problems. Not every process benefits from AI. The first job is to spot the tasks where it clearly pays off — usually repetitive, text-heavy or data-heavy work.
- Builds working systems. Strategy slides alone change nothing. The value comes from automations, AI agents and tools that run on your real data.
- Makes your team independent. A project is only finished when your people can run, adjust and trust the system without outside help.
How an AI project runs
- 1Discovery call (30 minutes). We talk through your processes and look for the two or three places where AI could make a real difference — and say clearly where it would not.
- 2Prototype on real data. Instead of a long concept phase we build a small working version with your actual documents, emails or data, so you can judge the value before committing to more.
- 3Ship and train. If the prototype holds up, we deploy it into your existing tools, hand it over and train the team.
You can see examples of this approach in our projects — from an agent pipeline that builds tailored sales demos to a mileage logbook that replaced a paper process.
Typical first use cases
- Drafting quotes, proposals and replies to standard enquiries
- Sorting and answering support tickets
- Pulling data out of documents, invoices and forms
- Internal knowledge search across policies, manuals and past projects
- Reporting that currently means copying numbers between spreadsheets
- Making your company visible in AI search tools like ChatGPT (more on that here)
Seven questions to ask before you hire an AI consultancy
- 1Will we see something working on our own data early on — or only slides?
- 2Can you show projects you have actually built?
- 3Who owns the system and the code afterwards?
- 4Where does our data go, and how do you handle personal data under the GDPR?
- 5How do you deal with the EU AI Act? (Our overview for Austrian companies)
- 6What will our team be able to do on its own afterwards?
- 7Will you tell us honestly if AI is not the right answer?
If an advisor cannot answer these clearly, keep looking.
Why work with a Vienna-based team
Being close matters more than it sounds. A team in Vienna knows the Austrian market, works in German and English, and can sit in the same room for a workshop when that helps. At the same time, most of the day-to-day work happens online, so we work with companies across Austria, Germany and Switzerland.

Questions
How long does a typical AI project take?
It depends on the scope. We start with a free 30-minute call, then build a prototype on your real data so you can judge the value before committing to a larger project.
Do we need our own data scientists?
No. We build and deploy the system and train your existing team to run it.
